The easiest description of trend trading is to deal with the trends,  however a beginner should find out what are trends and how to follow them.

We make the most of technical analysis when we buy or sell securities. This is the analysis of the way securities change throughout time. The trends are up, like a bull’s horns, in a bull market. Like the paws of a bear, the trends are down when we talk about a bear market.

Many highs and lows occur during each day’s trading. In trend analysis, the bottoms of each valley during a specified period are examined.

Analysts write the low values over that period of time on a chart or they may use a computer to plot them. If the lower values continuously lessen, there will be an upward trend over time.

Certain trends can be identified and then analyzed in order to assess when one should exit the market or when one should enter the market. Long-term traders rely on trends more than anything.

Throughout, stock market investments were safe, when kept for 20 to 30 years. For the past three years the market has been bear, thus, the trend is down.

Despite investors losing money lately, they still have a net gain. Lucky investors were able to exit the market with maximum profits by being able to identify the new trend . 

The valleys will level out and investors tend to sell when the upward trends persist for weeks, months or even years. It is believed that the flat-line means a downward trend could be on the way. They’ll be right sometimes but wrong on other occasions. Trend trading over brief periods is like gambling. Sometimes you are victorious, and sometimes you fall in defeat.

Advanced technology made the investors use trends and some logical tools by themselves easily. In prior years, we were required to rely on investment advisors or market analysts who took almost each hour daily keeping track of the market.

Trend trading’s meaning is basic. It is easier to identify trends and capitalize on them.
